The past week and a half I have spent many miles on southern Indiana
roads stopping at rummage sales, barn sales and a handful of antique
malls. I've gathered a collection of pretty finds ranging from retro
Aladdin thermoses, antique typewriters all the way to vintage cameras,
many of which are Polaroids. The last day out I came across a small
antique shop in a place called Gnaw Bone Indiana and that is where I met
this Kodak Reflex 1A camera and it was love at first sight. It's in
fantastic condition, and needed very little cleaning inside or out.
Already I have found a camera store in downtown Indianapolis that still
sells and processes 120 film which I have bought and modified to fit the
camera which originally takes 620.
I haven't been this excited about shooting since I received my SX-70 earlier this year. Bringing these vintage cameras to life is really thrilling and I can not wait to share with you the images from this Reflex in the days to come.
I hope you have a lovely weekend and are able to find the little treasures that makes your heart soar!
